Recently I've been looking through my plethora of old images on my hard-drive, playing around with them in Lightroom and Photoshop, trying to see if I can realise a new creative vision than I had previously. It's been a lot of fun. I've seemed to rediscover my love for fashion work, it's a genre I haven't really played around with much lately but it's definitely I thing a sorely miss. I've gained an appreciatation for fashion's ability to tell an interesting narractive through the means of creative and technical photographic skills while I've been studying at University and it's something I really want to dive into. In the past I haven't had access to models, makeup artists or fashion designers - but living in Sheffield has iikely opened up that door to me. There are plenty of artists both in and out of University that I would love to work with so I'll be organising something in the coming weeks. Keep an eye out.
Here are some redone images from a shoot I did a couple of years ago. I was unsure what to do with them at first so they remained mostly untouched in a folder, hidden. Now that my post-processing skills and creative vision is somewhat sharper now - I feel much more able to shape the way I want my images to read so, here you go. I used Lightroom to process most of this fashion work and a little bit of Photoshop for some minimal touching up! I hope you like them.
P.S. If you're a model, fashion designer, makeup artist (etc!) then get in touch with me at firstname.lastname@example.org or 07852540727 and we can talk about collaborating!
